About Us

Interior view of the Pompano Beach Elks Lodge during an event.

The Pompano Beach Elks Lodge sits on NE 10th Way and has been quietly doing something most organizations only talk about: actually showing up for the community. Members and guests consistently point to the same thing, the staff genuinely make you feel like you belong here, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth.

The building carries a classic Elks character, and the lodge has invested in a fully refreshed interior that hits the sweet spot between comfortable and welcoming. Local groups like scuba dive clubs use it as a monthly home base. Travelers stopping through Pompano on their way out of Florida have made it a last-day tradition. The warmth here isn't a policy, it's just how people like Al in the kitchen and the Exalted Ruler treat every person who walks through the door.

Beyond the bar and the dining room, the lodge's community service work stands out even among regulars who've seen a lot of civic organizations. This is a place that earns its reputation week after week, not just on paper.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full pub-style menu prepared in-house, with food that earns repeat visits rather than just tolerating them. Cold drinks, a welcoming bar atmosphere, and staff who remember your name make it easy to settle in for an evening.

Private event hosting, meeting room access for clubs and organizations, and regular lodge events round out what members and guests can tap into. The space accommodates everything from a casual Friday night out to a structured monthly meeting for a group of twenty.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks opens the door to a national fraternal network, local charitable initiatives, and the kind of community investment that actually moves the needle in Pompano Beach and Broward County.

"We went here on the day that we left Florida. Stopped in to check it out and I'm glad that we did. "Al" was such a nice lady who cooked for us and Paul the "ER" was also very nice. We will definitely go back next year when we vacation there again."

"My boyfriend and I went for a gun show, which was pretty good (first time for me in one of those). The lodge itself was a tad old, but clean, and the event seemed well organized."

"I have been an active elk for 12 years. I was very disappointed with the Easter dinner. Four of us had the turkey and it was not real turkey. The presentation looked like garbage. They had the worst stuffing ever. We reported it to the manager and she did not seem concerned. They should have gave us our money back. at 17.00 per plate it was terrible. Dino is the best chef there and I dont think he would ever send that out of the kitchen. and cream and veggie soup for easter. thats because it was not real turkey dont ya think you should have had turkey soup. No wonder noone wants to go there anymore. I heard the first sitting had hardly anybody and 3 other elks told me their turkey was awful. I feel u should note this and let the exalted ruler no why the club loses monies and people constantly. I would rate Easter Poor. On the good side we had an excellent waiter Ernie who accomodated us thru the whole meal. There wont be a next time. Please stop cutting corners for the good active elks and their families and the club will thrive again. Poor management is always the problem there. Michele"

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
